together civil society, researchers, practitioners, innovators and industry
stakeholders to influence policy, strengthen governance, and integrate ageing
into national and state development agendas.

Healthy Ageing, Longevity and Prevention
AHA promotes a life-course approach to healthy ageing by advancing awareness,
evidence and policy dialogue around prevention, health span, longevity science,
lifestyle medicine and age-related research.

Dementia, Cognitive Health and Caregiving
AHA works to elevate dementia, cognitive health, caregiving and integrated care
as national priorities through advocacy, awareness, standards and cross-sector
engagement.

Age-Friendly and Inclusive Communities
AHA promotes age-friendly environments that support participation, accessibility,
dignity and social inclusion, aligned with global frameworks such as the WHO
Age-friendly Cities and Communities movement. This includes addressing ageism,
fostering intergenerational engagement, and encouraging community-led approaches
to ageing well.

Ecosystem Development and Stakeholder Engagement
AHA strengthens collaboration across stakeholders by connecting organizations,
professionals, researchers, innovators, healthcare providers, philanthropies and
government stakeholders. Through its membership network, AHA creates
opportunities for collective learning, partnership and action.

Innovation, AgeTech and Future Readiness
AHA promotes visibility, collaboration and adoption of innovations that improve
the quality of life of older adults — including AgeTech, digital inclusion,
assistive technologies, and new models of care and support.

Knowledge, Evidence and Research Translation
AHA facilitates the development, dissemination and application of knowledge
across the ageing ecosystem. This includes sector reports, policy briefs,
evidence repositories, measurement frameworks, and translating research into
practical action for policymakers, practitioners and communities.

Capacity Building, Standards and Quality Improvement
AHA supports the development and dissemination of competency frameworks,
standards, good practices and learning opportunities that strengthen
organizations and professionals working across the ageing ecosystem, while
leveraging the expertise of member organizations and sector leaders.
